Pitched as Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets Day of the Triffids by way of Arrival, Overgrowth is a refreshing take on a first contact story from the perspective of a pre-invasion alien scout who cannot help but be human – even though she warns everyone she meets that she is anything but.
